Frequently asked questions

Cannot find your answer? Call or WhatsApp us on 068 880 5805.

How much is the 6-week vaccination?
The government vaccines given at 6 weeks have no vaccine charge. You pay R650 with a full well-baby consultation, or R350 for the vaccination only.
How much is the 18-month vaccination?
The 6-in-1 booster is free. The administration fee is R470. If you also choose the second chickenpox dose (R715), the total is R1,185.
How much is the MMR vaccine?
R420 per dose, plus an administration fee of R470 at 12 months and 6 years (R350 for the vaccination only).
Are government vaccines really free?
The vaccine itself is provided at no cost, in line with the Department of Health schedule. A vaccine administration fee or well-baby consultation fee covers your nurse's time.
Why do private vaccines cost extra?
Private vaccines are optional vaccines outside the government schedule, so the vaccine itself is not state-supplied. You pay the vaccine cost on top of the administration fee.
Do the prices include VAT?
Prices are in rand and exclude VAT unless stated.
Can I claim from medical aid?
We do not accept medical aid, but we issue an invoice with NAPPI and procedure codes for you to claim from your scheme. See how claiming works.
